CECAP has 3 young men from Chuitzanchaj studying in the culinary program for 2012. These are great young guys who need work part time to pay for their lodging and tuition. They are available to work doing anything that is needed from 2pm to 5pm daily and on weekends. If anyone has any sort of short-term work that you can offer this boys, you would be doing a very good deed. They are all very capable, honest and 15 years and older. Strong! Please call me if you have any work that they can do to help them pay for their education.
Thank you !!

Just a few days before this announcement, outgoing President Álvaro Colom raised the minimum daily wage for both agricultural and non-agricultural workers from Q62.50 to Q68. This is an increase of 6.75%, just a touch above the 2011 inflation rate and which is higher than the Q66.80 rate suggested by the Comisión Nacional del Salario.
