Do you have a few hours every other week to volunteer and have fun too, chat with other Santa Cruzeños? CECAP needs an English speaker to help out at the Artesania table at the Iguana's Saturday Market every other Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (approximately). You will be working with Elena from the village so some Spanish is necessary. You will be helping to record sales and make change and tell people about CECAP. The sale of CECAP artesania products helps to support the CECAP training programs. This volunteer job would probably end around the beginning of the rainy season or just after Semana Santa. La Iguana's Saturday Market is the happening place to be on Saturday morning! If you are interested in volunteering a few hours of your time every other week, please contact me through the CONTACT FORM. Thanks!

Dear Friends, If you can help us out with a donation, it would be most appreciated. We are coming to the end of our fiscal year and money is always very tight for us as the year comes to a close. Our volunteers continuously spread the word about the need for sterilizations, vaccinations, and parasite treatments as it relates to human health as well as the benefits for the individual dog or cat. We continue to expand our service reach as more and more Municipalities and Centro de Salud offices request assistance for their villages. Please help us continue to the pace!
Ayuda is 100% unpaid volunteers, formally recognized by the Guatemalan government, and the only registered non-profit group dedicated to animal welfare in the entire Lake Atitlan region. All contributions of any size make a difference in the lives of helpless animals. Thank you to everyone for your generosity and continued support of this important work. http://ayudagt.wordpress.com/donations/

Alicia now has a selection of veggies available for SC residents. You know Alicia from the Saturday Market at the Iguana. If you find yourself in need of some veggies during the week and just don't want to go to Pana, give her a call and see what she has available. Of course she also has her delicious dinners, homemade yogurt, granola, breads, coffee. Or visit her in the village. Her house is located across from the southeast rear corner of the school in the village, on the corner by the downhill path. 3115-3969
