This week's Photo of the Week was taken by me in Santiago on Friday of Semana Santa, 2009. Maximon and his compañeros!
We need more photos taken by others, please! They don't have to have been taken this week! Dig through those files and find your best ones! If you have a photo you would like to submit for the Photo of the Week series, please contact me.

The Atitlán Music School has initiated a Go Fund Me Fundraiser to raise funds to pay for legal advice and fees to obtain official non-profit status in the USA and in Guatemala.
Please help Atitlán Music School attain this important step!
The school has been operating for a year and a half on the generous donations already received at fund raising events in the USA and in Guatemala. In order to expand programs and increase outreach, the school needs to be able to apply for grants from organizations and companies. Before this can be done, official "Not For Profit" status must be attained. Thanks for your help! Current funding only covers student scholarships and essentials.

Dear friends in the Atitlán area,
I am looking for any type of used magazines or journals to use for art work. Colorful, high gloss would be preferable. I could pick them or you could drop them off.
Querido amigos en el area Atitlán,
Estoy buscando cualquier tipo de revistas usadas para trabajo de arte. Es preferible con mucho color y brillo intenso. Yo podría buscarlas o se llevan.
